Practitioner Information
Susan Bunce is a registered osteopath and Practice Principal at Broadwater Osteopathic Practice in Worthing. She graduated from the British School of Osteopathy (now the University College of Osteopathy) in 1998 and joined Broadwater Osteopathic Practice in 2000 after spending two years in practice in Hove.
Sue’s interest in osteopathy began at the age of 14 after spending time observing local osteopaths, chiropractors, and physiotherapists. Inspired by the holistic approach of osteopathic care and by Broadwater Osteopathic Practice founder Michael Morris, she went on to pursue a career in osteopathy and has now been in clinical practice for more than 25 years.
In 2015, Sue became Practice Principal following Michael Morris’s retirement and continues to lead the practice while treating patients of all ages with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including back pain, neck pain, joint pain, sports injuries and postural problems. She uses a combination of osteopathic treatment, joint articulation, soft-tissue techniques, and patient education to help people improve function, reduce pain, and maintain long-term health.
Alongside her osteopathic qualifications, Sue has additional training in remedial massage, hot stone massage and Indian head massage. She also has a particular professional interest in the relationship between stress, anxiety and musculoskeletal pain, having completed a two-year dissertation on this subject during her osteopathic degree.
