Hypnotherapy, Neurolinguistic Programming, Emotional Freedom Technique

Hypnotherapy involves hypnosis and Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), and may be useful for a range of issues, personal development and creating positive change. It can re-programme patterns of behaviour within the subconscious mind and can help relieve anxiety, aid sleep, build confidence, aid eating problems and assist smoking cessation. Hypnosis is a safe way of connecting with your subconscious mind, to issue new suggestions or instructions.
There are many myths about hypnosis which give a misleading impression. The reality is a lot different. You don’t lose awareness of who you are, where you are and what you’re doing. You don’t lose control. You don’t ‘go under’ in the sense that you fall asleep or unconscious; most people remain aware right throughout the session. In fact, being hypnotised is generally a relaxing experience.

Emotional freedom technique  (EFT)is one of the most exciting, powerful techniques developed over the last two decades. It is also commonly known as ‘tapping’. It is one of the new ’Energy Psychologies’ with its roots in acupuncture, kinesiology and psychology. It’s like an emotional form of acupuncture without the needles, you simply tap specific points on your body with your fingertips. EFT is based upon the discovery that imbalances in the body’s energy system can have a deep effect on a person’s psychology. Feeling an unwanted negative emotion causes the energy flow in the meridian pathway to become disrupted. EFT is a gentle method which aims to directly rebalance the disrupted energy. It’s almost like clearing a log that’s blocking a stream, the log being a stuck emotion in your stream of energy (meridian). Each session will last approximately an hour and takes place sitting normally in a chair. EFT can be used to help improve negative emotions, limiting beliefs or negative thought patterns.
